It's formulated to be transfer-resistant and smudge-proof once fully set, holding up well through normal eating and drinking. Longevity can vary slightly based on factors like applying lip balm over top or consuming oily foods.

Will this lip stain dry out my lips?

We've formulated this stain to be as comfortable as possible, to counteract potential dryness associated with some long-wear formulas. While it provides a lasting stain effect, it's designed to feel lightweight. For extra comfort, especially if you have very dry lips, you can prep with a light balm (blot before applying stain) or apply a clear gloss/balm after the stain has fully dried.

What's the best way to apply the lip stain for even color and long wear?

For best results:

1. Start with clean, dry, and preferably exfoliated lips for the smoothest application.

2. Use the precision applicator to carefully outline your lips first.

3. Fill in the rest of your lips with a thin, even layer. Avoid rubbing lips together while it's drying.

4. Allow the stain to set completely (usually around 10 minutes) before eating, drinking, or applying anything over it.

For bolder color, wait for the first layer to dry fully before applying a second thin layer.

How do I remove the lip stain at the end of the day?

Since this is a long-wearing stain, water alone usually won't remove it completely. We recommend using an oil-based makeup remover or a dual-phase makeup remover. Apply the remover to a cotton pad, hold it against your lips for 10-15 seconds to help break down the pigment, and then gently wipe away. Repeat if necessary. Micellar water can also work, but oil-based removers are typically most effective.
